Amidst all the talk of why 50 Shades of Grey is off base, I read a beautiful blog post written by Ann Voskamp. She says, “ . . . our mattress sags in the middle. . . the springs in the centre have been flattened by the sheer weight of glory. You and I and this becoming of us.” I found her post sexy, passionate—and pure. I loved it for its poetry and also because it exposes the fraud by contrasting it to real, god-ordained love. Her entire post, “How Real People Make Shades of Real Love,” can be found here.
